peptide experiment

the peptide experiment: routing creator rewards into assayed research peptides and distributing them to the holders

peptide (pseudonymous), posted to a peptide research forum
Abstract: A five milligram vial of BPC-157 costs a compounding lab somewhere between four and nine dollars to synthesize, lyophilize and cap. You have all seen what it retails for. Ninety, a hundred and twenty, more if it arrives in a nice box with a QR code on it that links to a certificate of analysis somebody photoshopped. The gap between what these compounds cost to make and what they cost to buy is not science. It is distribution, gatekeeping, and the fact that everyone in the chain is quietly terrified of the regulator, so everyone charges a fear premium and passes it down to whoever is actually trying to fix a shoulder. Peptides are the closest thing our generation has to a cheat code for tissue repair and we have arranged things so that you have to be either rich or extremely online to get clean ones. So this is the experiment: a token whose fee stream is a purchasing budget. Not a treasury, not a DAO vote, not a roadmap with quarters on it. A standing order. Every trade in $peptide pays a creator fee, that fee accrues to a wallet nobody spends from, I sweep it every Sunday, seventy percent goes straight to a licensed compounding lab as a bulk purchase order, and the vials that come back get shipped to wallets that held through the snapshot. Ten percent pays a third party to mass-spec every single lot before a vial leaves — this batch came back at 99.1% from Janoshik Analytical, and if a lot fails it gets destroyed and the purchase order gets rewritten, which has happened once. The remaining twenty covers cold chain, packaging, and the postage, because peptides that spend four days on a hot loading dock are a chemistry lesson in what not to inject. That is the whole design. Buy in bulk at cost, verify in public, hand it out at zero. The token is not the product and it never was. The token is a way for ten thousand people to place one enormous order together, which is the only reason the cost per vial can look the way it does below. I have run seventeen batches on this and it keeps working, so I am going to keep running it until somebody gives me a reason not to. Hold, claim a vial, tell somebody.

1. Distribution mechanism

  1. Accrual. Creator fees from $peptide trading collect continuously in the creator wallet. The address is in the header of this page; it is readable by anyone and has never sent a transfer to an exchange.
  2. Sweep. Every Sunday the balance is swept and split 70 / 20 / 10 — procurement, cold chain and logistics, independent assay. Batch 17 deployed $18,420 on procurement.
  3. Purchase. The procurement share becomes a single bulk order with a compounding lab. Ordering 500 vials at once is what drops the landed cost per vial into single digits.
  4. Assay. Every lot is sampled and sent for third-party mass-spec and HPLC before anything ships. Results are posted to the thread with the lot number legible. A failed lot is destroyed, not discounted.
  5. Snapshot. Eligibility is a read of the public ledger at a published slot — slot 341,902,118 for this batch. Wallets holding at least 250,000 $peptide qualify for one vial.
  6. Claim. Eligible holders submit the form below. Holdings are re-checked against the snapshot, then a fulfillment link is emailed. Unclaimed allocations roll into the next batch.

2. Batch 17 allocation

Landed cost per vial including assay and cold chain. Retail for the same compounds runs roughly ninety to a hundred and forty dollars. None of it is sold; the figure is there so the fee stream can be checked against the batch.

3. Claim

159 allocations from batch 17 are still unassigned. Claims close when the batch is exhausted or when the next snapshot is taken, whichever comes first.

Open to wallets holding at least 250,000 $peptide at the 29 Jul 2026 snapshot. One vial per wallet per cycle.

Verification is a read of the public snapshot. No signature, no approval, nothing to connect.
Comments: Reproduced from a long-running forum thread. Revised weekly as batches close. Compounds are supplied as lyophilized research material, labelled for laboratory use only and not for human or veterinary consumption.
